I like the blue, truthfully. You're art generally works because it's very high impact and attention grabbing, and the contrast between the blue and red make it just enough jarring that it's memorable. And looking at it from a fashion sense, it breaks up the color from the red/browns, which are all in the same warm hues. It brings interest by providing a cool color in the mix- and a strong impact image is all about little details like that.

If you do change the blue, I still think you should stick with a cool color/tone to break up the otherwise earthy outfit.

Yup yup, actually the outfit was unsurprisingly inspired by both Hol Horse and Gyro Zeppeli. I'm probably going to end up making some changes to it soon though.

I'm not sure if you care about the anatomy or if you're just focusing on the colours, but the beak looks a bit odd for the head angle. And also where the feathers stop on the arm - at the elbow area... It seems a bit disconnected? Apart from that I like the concept :3 i just think the blues in the image should be greenified a bit, a bit more of a comlimentry or analogous colour scheme..
