Poor, innocent Junie Fiegenbaum (https://www.deviantart.com/azure-li.....-Art-928541558) can never seem to escape transformative trinkets people throw her way. Perhaps the anonymous gift on her doorstep with no return address was already enough of a red flag not to open it, but how could anyone resist such a pretty-looking bracelet of mistletoe?
Especially when it'll match the darling new dress that Mrs. Juniper just bought for her holiday party! Now she's just got to make sure all the decorations are in order and the food is prepared; 'tis the season to look your best for all the swell company she's invited...
Did you guys know that mistletoe is actually a parasite that grows in the crowns of certain trees? Neither did I until a week or two ago, but it makes for good inspiration when your heroine character is half-plant. I'm sure she'll be fine, though...
Let me know what you think, by the way; I tried a lot of work with gradients and more gradual in-between steps to get to her end look, especially being inspired by Mr-DNA and Inkyfluffsdraws.
