Also FA has breeds like shorthair cat and main coon on their species list but they don't have somali cats on there. This is somali cat erasure and I am offended on Eleanor's behalf. Why even have specific breeds on the species list anyway like siamese cats are not a species they are a breed I will never understand FA's categorization choices they should just have DOMESTIC CAT on the list or make an entirely separate "breed" category for breeds okay I'm done ranting
