We got a puppy!
Her name is Bella, we got her from a shelter, who got her and her littermates from a high-kill shelter in Virginia. The lady at the shelter here in Vermont rescued them before they were scheduled to be put to sleep, and I'm glad she was able to rescue them in time, otherwise, we wouldn't have had the chance to adopt her :) All of her littermates have gotten nice homes as well, and Bella was the last to be adopted out.
She's a hound-border collie mix :) She's practically all white, except for the black around her ears and eyes, with tiny little black polka dots all over her body...they're not really that noticeable unless you really look.
She just LOVES to cuddle! And she does such cute things! :) I'm glad she's here to stay with us :)

Yeah, I don't like the idea of euthanising animals that have nothing wrong with them...it would be different if they were hurt and were beyond the care of doctors and just would be the humane thing to do. I can understand the over-population of pets and all but...I really don't like the idea of having to put them down either =P
Luckily though, Bella is with us, and I'm glad for that :) I still think God kept her aside for us cuz He knew we were looking for a puppy for so long :)
