Women who were eager for a clutch of eggs but having trouble conceiving would make the long trek through the forest to find it and soak within its magical waters. A trio of male soldiers found their route passing quite close to the area, and decided to take a look.

There was quite a rumor about how if a male were to step into the waters, the Goddess would take it as a sign that they desired to be something other than what they are. Others believe it’s meant more as a curse for any male who would dare step into an area meant only for the females of their species. Curse or boon, one would suppose that it depended on the person’s outlook, yes? Either way, the results are the same.
