This is a large environment illustration I did as a collabration with Oskari Koskela (https://www.artstation.com/kskl) The station along with the train is a part of my worldbuilding project Meriterra.
This piece was done as a part of our thesis which focused on utilizing 3D tools in 2D art workflows. We used a lot of 3D during the creation of this painting, from iterative designing of the train, to fully modeling and lighting the station to try out our final composition before painting the finished illustration
