T. Matt Latrans was surprised to get a present from none other than John Stoat (Stoat, G). The mustelid sniper had been unable to play since an injury to his eye just before the end of regulation last season. Tragically, it kept Stoat from joining his team in their first playoffs appearance in 8 years. He was still recovering through the off-season as his team, the Spokane Rapids, went through enormous changes, getting a new owner, a new coaching staff, and multiple player transactions. When the new season began, Stoat still wasn't able to hit the hardwood. T. Matt figured after all this time, Juju wouldn't be in the mood for sending out presents.
But it wasn't really a present. It was a message.

This was the artwork for the 2010 FBA Holiday Card I sent out to as many FBA fans as I could. My previous card was for Easter of 2010, and I had 50 cards made, but at the time only mailed out about 30. THIS time, however, I ran out of cards!! Looks like I'll need to order 100 next time!
The FBA sure is growing. I'm sorry I couldn't get cards out to everyone. But to all of you who have supported the Furry Basketball Association through 2010 and helped this goofy little project become what it is today, thank you all so much. It would have never happened without all of you.

I'd like to take a weeeeee bit of credit for the modification of the Mudpuppies and Rapids gear designs, though the original ideas were not mine. I'm still thrilled seeing the very jersey I drew on Blanc Mange being worn by T. Matt (with a different number, of course) ;)
