It's weird, with piano this track comes off as soothing, yet the NES original came off as...foreboding, or at times intimidating...but perhaps the environment had a lot to do with that, if you didn't have a map and were wandering wide fields, unsure of the path ahead, only to come face-to-face with a dark knight...yeah
