Hjöring hails from an ancient clan that once dwelt in the halls of the north, but after being dispersed throughout the south. Their clan was called that - Hearers, because they could allegedly "talk" with the gods. The true nature of the voices visiting the Hearers, no one could explain or unravel, and the meaning of the phrases remained just as mysterious and foggy.
