Never Thought You'd Be The One
Oldass art from last summer alert! Might burn your eyes!My gallery has had a definite shortage of Skye and Wielder art lately, and, while this is at least half a year old...found it while cleaning out my art stuff today, I figured I could scan it in and post it. It was just a simple black and white ink drawing I had done.
Anyways, it's just a simple snapshotish looking picture of Wielder and Skye shortly after they become a little more than friends hanging out on a picnic table at a park near their college. Seems Wielder's been tamed a bit, she looks to be happy in a real relationship, and Skye looks like she's adjusting well to dating a girl in spite of her initially railing against the idea of her ever being attracted to a fellow female...especially the loud-mouthed, stubborn, and slightly abrasive timberwolf.
Done in micron pen on sketchbook paper.

I was wondering if we'd see more of Wielder and Skye. The few pictures you put of of them, coupled with the short stories you wrote, painted a wonderful, yet incomplete, picture of their relationship as it grew. It's nice to know they ended up together.
Hopefully, this isn't the last we see of them.

You guys will be seeing more of Skye and Wielder...even in the SW stuff. There is some stuff I need to write/draw/upload that have both of them in it. I'm honored you like their story, and I need to revise parts of it and really start it over from the beginning. They will end up together in that storyline, more than likely. Here...it's kinda in the beginning of their relationship, but important changes and compromises have already been made. They both know they're willing to go pretty far for the other.

This is such an adorable image of the two. I really, really love it as a piece of lineart ( love the bolder, black outlines ) but also would like to see a color version of this someday. I love Wielder's cap ( I have one similar to it ;P ) and I love the simple but complimentary background of the picnic table and trees- it really adds even more to the mood of the image.
