Got some new art supplies for Christmas, and got the itch to draw something. So, I tested them out, and, well... first time in a very long time that I didn't screw up coloring by hand. In fact, I like those little sticks of lead more than the pencils I normally use. It feels better in the hand, and isn't quite so restrictive as to which way I can move my hand, which makes it a bit easier for some of the curved lines.

All in all, my contentment with the new supplies led me to draw a cheerful, breezy picture, and took my mind off the shit that's bogged me down quite a bit as of late. It was very relieving, and I'm glad it turned out well.
