I've been playing a lot of the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game this year, thanks to 
getting into it. Despite playing more games this year than I have in the previous decade, my army of choice has yet to net me a single win. I blame the super expensive ineffective artillery. Could I drop them and take 6-7 more soldiers per Windlance? Sure, but I spent 60 bucks on them a piece so I'm gonna take them every battle goddammit!

Just Smaug armies almost always come in dead last in tournaments. He's good, but just has a hard time handling a big army.
I technically can ally with Erebor Reclaimed, but they don't have the cool dwarf ballistae. And honestly, I think the Dale ones are better; they're stronger and have a further range. And the bonus to the shoot score for being just a Dale army is good; I just need better dice luck
