I'd actually drawn this out to a different song, but ended up finding that it fit Your Hand in Mine by Explosions in the Sky[which has been on repeat for over a week now] much better.

This was actually sketched out a few months back, colored tonight as some sort of late Valentine's Day picture. Or something.

We didn't do anything this year; he had to work, I had to work as well, though we both mutually decided that it was just like any other day of the year, just with a fancy title and added stress to people's relationships. We spent the next evening together, watching movies in his room. Nothing expensive, nothing extravagant, just the chance to sit back and enjoy each other's company. I couldn't have asked for more; love isn't about fancy gifts or pricey dinners, but about enjoying the time you spend with someone and being able to relate to them on an intimate level.

At least that's how I've always seen it.
