A very beautiful picture of my bountiful Sylveon Goddess, Sylvanna, is finished! Originally requested as a sketch by Patron  Mr. Diamond that won a poll to be finished, we get to see it in brilliant digital color.

As I was working on this, in the back of my mind I was remember the issues coloring pastel characters gave me. Their shading always turned out so dull/pale. So with a bit of messing around I came up with a workflow that almost matches how I used to do digital coloring over a decade ago but no longer did due to the clumsiness of Photoshop’s UI (originally was a reason I didn’t want to pursue painting in Photoshop).

Bob Ross was an amazing inspiration for this workflow change. I had been watching him a lot lately as I work. Seeing him with his big ol’ paint palette made me realize I should do a digital equivalent to that. With that change it helped me do this picture with the rich colors you see.
