My interpretation of Martin the Warrior as he appears in Brian Jacques' Mossflower. The way I pictured Martin in Mossflower was a Martin who had gotten over his difficult puberty and feelings of immense loss and loneliness. Not to mention the look of "I've been through a few scrapes."
(spoiler alert)
If you haven't read the book, the noose around his neck has what remains of his fathers' sword tied to it and was put there by Queen Tsarmina.
Another note, you will see quite a few pics of Martin coming from my pad in the next month. I guess I got sort of a crush on him....
If you haven't read Mossflower, do so. It is a good read.
