Hehehe, that's me. I live in NW Arkansas now and we're having some of that arctic blast. Before moving here I was in Toronto CA for almost 3 years and before that, 4 years in Duluth MN. We had -6f with wind-chills to -27 on the 23rd and was l like 'So what?' 😁

Im from NE Arkansas, and I've lived 10 years in Mishawaka Indiana, so i'm used to this chill as well, but mostly cause I know how to bundle up and WHEN to. lol. But yeah..not really much of a bother. I prefer cold to the heat down here. lol.

She's a snow leopard. She's about R-250 and one third insulation by body weight.

Her fur is very thick and can take the cold. On the other hand, his fur is not as thick, so of course he would hate the cold and snow, lol

HA! This reminds me of a story my Grandmother told me about when she moved from Minnesota to California. She and her best friend moved out this way and one day they both were walking around San Francisco, and everyone was staring at them, and it took them a hot minute to realize they were dressed for summer in the middle of January, and so while everyone else was bundled up and miserable, they were dressed for fair weather, and absolutely loving the balmy weather.

To be fair, nature literally designed to have her operate nude in harsher conditions. I'm honestly surprised more people don't have Sneps and other arctic species dressing down compared to others.

I'm 50% of that asshole. Everyone thinks I'm weird going to work in only shorts no matter the weather. I only have to make it to my car (which heats up) and from there to the Amazon warehouse I work in that turns the heat on full blast the moment temperatures drop below 60 F.

No I'm not super tough. I'm just dressing for my 10 hour shift in a building that's hot and stuffy year round. Be it because of the Texas sun beating down on it, everyone in it sweating up a storm, or the heater being on.

It's been snowing, as low as -5°and I've walked the dog in flip-flops because the snow wasn't that deep. I am wearing sweatpants and a hoodie, though.
