I've seen some big jackrabbits in the desert, monsters compared to the desert cottontails. Also lanky as all hell too. Unlike some of the pet rabbit breeds which can be the size of a large cat or medium sized dog.

Kind of makes you wonder what would be a moral way to keep the population down if some species of anthros did reproduce quickly enough to be a problem.

And that's the point I was making! On a more serious note, I'd imagine that they simply wouldn't need to have as many kids as real life rabbits. Without predators eating their kids and with medical care for the sick and injured the mortality rate would be quite low. They'd probably have more young than most, but not the humorously large number we see in cartoons and stuff.

heh yes I suspected that's what you meant ;) And that's a good point, after all humans in advanced modern societies don't have as many children as in less developed areas, and that is itself a problem, on both counts. This is actually really interesting to consider! We are of course assuming said anthros can only have children with their own species and not hybridise as is so commonly depicted in anthro art. Ah forbidden love betwixt fox and rabbit ;)

Anyone can wear overalls for any reason. But she kinda gives older sister vibe instead of mom.

I thought the long fur on her neck should hint at her more stately age. It just seemed to me that a jumpsuit is a good choice of clothes for a hare.

I didn't say jumpsuit is a bad choice of clothing. Just not usually associated with adult. I think, in a picture like this, without context.
