I now have an updated reference for Mystica, my lovely kitsune. She has quickly become one of my absolute favorite (and powerful) OCs, and kind of a comfort OC of sorts. It's time I give her a more proper bio and such. Look out everyone, here comes a very powerful kitsune, ready to possibly take your essence and soul!
This wraps up most of what I got since my last upload. Took so long cuz of motivation for story writing and laziness. With a much MUCH smaller backlog, I can see myself uploading mostly as I get art. (Hopefully)
Name: Mystica

Bio:
Mystica is a kitsune who is currently 1,000 years old, with another 9,000 years left. She was born with all nine of her tails rather than having to earn them, like most kitsunes. She was born on a world called Ethr, a planet heavily magic-based, and much larger than Earth. Her magic growth was stunted by her parents, who told her not to mess with magic, so she stuck to only levitation, which she was born being able to do. This was the case until she was 20, where she discovered that there was so much more, and that magic was only dangerous if it was made out to be. So, she spent most of her life studying magic in all forms she possibly could.
In her current state, she is already extremely powerful, and has practically mastered magic of all sorts. Her goal is to become even more powerful, but not with corruptible power. She can absorb the magical essence within any creature. This is her main way of gaining power, though she typically only goes after those with much larger amounts of it. She can absorb the essence through normal means, or by eating and digesting them. She can then turn the pudge she gains into more magical essence. She stores the souls of her victims in her necklace.
When she isn't focusing solely on magic, she is raising young pups and kits and other creatures that have more magical essence than what is normal. She raises them as her own, wishing to pass her knowledge onto those she chooses to. She is generally very loving towards those that she raises.
She is typically very calm in nature, but can be rather teasing towards Cory and sometimes others. Other times, she might be a bit playful. She seems to remain a bit of a mystery to many, but Cory trusts her very much.
She resides in a cave deep within a large forest. Her cave has an open area, and narrows into a hallway with rooms to the side, one of them being where she brews her potions. Somewhat nearby, is the territory of a rather large wolf pack, who do not take kindly to magic running within their blood. As a result, any member born with extra magical essence are left to her care. This does not mean that she and magic are not allowed in their territory, they aren't allowed to run within the clan's genes. The clan often go to her for potions to cure the sick and ill, which she is more than happy to help out with.
She will sometimes travel to another dimension, which is just another planet. This planet is called Xivyr (Ziv-ear), which is not as big as Auxfire, the planet she currently resides on, but it is still larger than her homeworld. Xivyr is very magic-based and offers a lot for her, including powerful magic beings which she can take magical essence from, and even new magic to learn! She has taken down rogue deities and taken their power and essence for herself.
Now then...a crash course in Magical Essence!
Magical Essence. It is something that all living creatures have. However, only those with more than the norm can actually utilize it. Humans are unable to utilize it, with a few exceptions.
Magical Essence dictates how powerful your magic is, and how efficient you are at using it.
It is possible to be granted a bit extra and then be taught how to utilize and raise it, though only through magic users skilled enough in doing so. Mystica can do this if she wishes.
