16 of 20, "Free Commissions." This one is for ~Scribbles-McGee, who has received a Full Basic commission: one that was sketched up, given a smooth lineart, colored, and shaded!
Where to begin? This is two of his characters in a sort of way. Ava and Dexy, although in all technicalities this is Ava transforming into Dexy. She's a shapeshifer. Shifts into other people. Tis a creepy power and from what I understand, tis a creepy lady!
Ava's shifts in other pictures always looked like a blotch of paint being stroked across her body, so I was trying to keep that abstract kind of effect here, along with a few of my own thoughts on how these kind of transformations occur, such as Ava's boots disintegrating from the top, and after creating, tying shoelaces into it. Another example I tried to portray is Ava's shirt unweaving so that it can shorten down to Dexy's size.
Anyways, this was way different than what I'm used to so it was a good challenge! Hope you all like!

The lineart here is softer than the other two Full Basics I did, tell me whatcha think of that: better, worse, indifferent? Do they change how a picture feels or is it all about the same?
