yeah my family doesn't either! we used to get together at my grandma's during the holidays and do the big gift exchange thing -- but eventually people got older and started their own families, and now presumably they are all off doing it with their own grandchildren. circle of life!
On my end... When I was a kid we were rather on the poor side of things. Parents made sure we have the necessities but luxuries were really not a thing so our holidays were always symbolic present-wise and it kinda stuck even though we're better off now. No grandkids here. Still don't have a lady willing to have my babies lol
