Shiny is often used as their little exercise model and loving what ideas she comes up with. He became such a nut for outfits, costumes and happy makeovers, he'd likely be eager to tag along if folks were recommending him some parlor that also does treatments on Scalies like him. Getting spines colored in different tones for a while or temporary gradients for his scales sound like obvious choices. He already loves the occasional polish for his Shiny Pokémon body. =3
