Shirokuma Cafe Style Study
One of a few style studies I've done with these three characters, though I don't know that I've ever posted them! I often will use Anthony, Sonia, and Anthony's mom from my "Party Dogs" cast when learning a new style, out of habit from a character design class I took a few years back. ^v^
Shirokuma Cafe was a unique style to study for a few reasons! The animals are all still feral, but often enough walking on their hind limbs. They're often totally front facing, which a lot of animal artists tend to avoid. There's also not a lot of internal lineart, save for the occasional texture or fold line, making a lot of the designs feel like big blocks of color when they're still.
