This must really strain his eyes. I can't imagine what it would've been like for him to watch Shade's movements during the battle. XD

I should've had the foresight to have the artist add a small stream of blood running down from it. Then you would really see just how much of a strain those eyes cause him.

I never properly worked out the details. But for all intents and purposes, his normal one is also his eternal one. If he uses it consistently in battle, he will lose his eyesight. But after a period of rest, that eyesight will return. He can thank his immortality for that.
