Next up, from Chapter 43: after Tai Lung, Po, Shifu, and the Five (plus other allies and former villains) have emerged from the location where they fought the Big Bad and his forces, they are met by the rest of the Valley's citizens. And after everyone in the village learns what took place, who was responsible for all the villainy throughout the story and who helped stop him once and for all, they are finally forced to see they were wrong about the snow leopard, that he can become a hero again, and has. And just as Po did at the end of the first movie, Tai Lung receives the bows of all assembled...something that as much as he had secretly hoped for it, he doesn't understand or know what to do with. Confused humility is better than smug arrogance any day, though.

this is an awesome pic.
I really had problems with the so called 'good guys' in the movie, because what they have done to Tai Lung. It's obviously that Tai Lung must have been punished, but not like that. Keeping him immobilized in jail for two decades was really cruel. And I hate how the first movie has ended. So thanks a lot for sharing the pic.

Yeah, what was done to Tai was very excessive, even assuming he did kill anyone in the rampage (which we don't actually know). Hence why I tried to add things in my fic to explain why they felt they had to lock him away like that, and why no one came to see him or let him out after enough time or anything. And as much as I love Po, I too hate how the movie ended (and not just because I love Tai--I think the way it was depicted was really out-of-character for Po).
Glad you like!

We shall have to wait and see. I really hope that, as easy as he seemed to be to take down, that won't be the last we see of him (aside from the villain appearing as him). And maybe if we're lucky, he'll get to help Po and the others and redeem himself this time, if not be the next Dragon Warrior after all. (Highly unlikely, but you never know.)
I still think other characters are as good as him, or nearly so, but I agree he's absolutely the most wasted one.
