I spent hours today making this submission, based off screenshotting in classic Doom and inserting a ripped sprite through GIMP. I tried various methods of doing this in order to get it just right, but unfortunately I wasn't able to achieve the perfect job, and this was the best I could get given all circumstances. Specifically, I wanted the colorable portion of the sprite to be purple (rather than the current default green); however, all methods I attempted to use to circumvent this ended in failure or worse-looking images.
This image is meant to evoke the intermission screen of TNT Evilution, hence the name. I took the screenshot in the spawn room of Back to Saturn X Ep1 Map01, one of my favorite maps and megawads of all time.
Originally I made it explicitly as a Discord banner and didn't plan to upload it to FA at all, but given I put so much time and effort into it, I figured it'd be a waste not to, and I like to make art of my characters and sonas more publicly available.
