Hey everyone,
this is a very important piece for me since I wanted to top off the last big Pokémon Drawing I did of Deerling and Sawsbuck in all seasonal versions by doing another, even more colourful artwork on A3 paper again. I decided to do some of the most beloved Pokémon ever created - the Eeveelutions^^
Everyone must have seen at least one evolution of Eevee in their life and possibly has a favourite, as well! I decided to draw them all since I love the evolution line so much and the designs are top notch if you ask me. I love the colours of them, the feline, vulpine kind of look to these creative creatures and the chance they give me as an artist to put in my own little twist to them. So here we have it - my biggest drawing yet! At least when it comes to Brushmarker Drawings, this is the biggest and most colourful one together with the Deerling & Sawsbuck image. And I am super proud of it.
Every Eeveelution got its specific and unique look in this piece, making Vaporeon more fish-like with its scales, Umbreon rather dark and twisted, almost menacing as it is a night predator, Flareon is EXTRA FLUFFY as it is so warm and cuddly, Jolteon is spikey and feisty while Glaceon is smooth and elegant, almost a little arrogant too. I wanted to make Espeon look like a naked cat/Sphinx Cat, but decided against it as I read that it has velvet like fur, so I made it rather slim and elegant looking. Leafeon looks a little more shaggy due to it living in the nature and representing leaves and bushes and Sylveon is just super happy and optimistic^^ All of them turned out lovely in my opinion and it makes me proud to see the finished result.
Colouring them was quite the challenge yet soooo much fun to do! Sylveon for me was the most difficult one, together with Vaporeon as I had to refine a few things with Coloured Pencils since the textured paper makes the Copicmarker Ink bleed a little more than I originally intended. However, it worked in my favour and created this piece.
I really hope you like the outcome of this thing as much as I do. Your feedback would mean the absolute world to me as well as sharing this piece or spreading the word! Thank you in advance!
