Despite someone's intimidating and very aggressive appearance, if you can really see through someone, you can tell when they are actually hurting. And then it's up to you if you want to help them. Blitzo saw that in one of the nastiest hounds in the adoption center, Loona, and decided he wanted to get her out of that awful place.
Here, I wanted to add my own size bit to it. Thinking that Blitzo would be so tiny, hearing her booming voice crying. He asks her if she wants to leave, where she nods, still crying, and causing tremors with her nodding for him, though he doesn't care. He just wants to get her out and give her a better life. He just needs to get a bigger bed for her ^^;
