The only thing I don't condone about the man's behaviour is the way he goes about trying to keep his nonhuman form. Choosing to act like a petulant child rather than firmly stating that it is his right as an adult to remain monsterized if he wants to. It's his body and his life and if she cannot accept that then she should divorce him rather than drag him to the monster shop and force him to rehumanize.
Of course, I also do not condone his wife's behaviour, because even though he feeds into it by acting out the role of the petulant child, she also inappropriately acts like a mother to the man that is supposed to be her husband.
It seems an overall very unhealthy relationship, from what we get to see.
Perhaps there is hidden information outside this comic, be it spelled out somewhere or purely inside kturtle's mind so far, that shines a different light on what we see here, but what's shown in this comic leads to only one conclusion IMO.
EDIT: It's honestly kinda like if he had turned himself into a woman, and his wife was dragging him to the monster shop to become a man again. But instead of insisting on her rights, the now-woman acts like a child, whining and screaming that she doesn't wanna turn back. Hard to choose who's being worse, because neither of them is doing anything right here.
