The Kirby series as a whole may have the appearance of a game designed to evoke the phrase "This is delightful!" from everyone who plays it, but as anybody who's pushed through to the 100% mark in pretty much any of the games could confirm, it's more than happy to run headlong into cosmic horror when it feels like it. Elfilis, Drawcia, 02, Marx... some of the most gloriously twisted boss fights in all of Nintendo belong to the bottomless pink puffball.

Indeed! And Forgotten Land certainly didn't disappoint -- if the outright mind control by an alien parasite wasn't enough to tip the scales straight into Cthulu-esque nightmare fuel, Fecto Forgo adds a whopping pile of YIKES to the balance.
