Now, I knew of this character before, but I've never watched an episode. So I did "research" and I wasn't expecting him to have the voice that he did. In the English dub, I mean. Gosh I love him.

Humorously, to advertise Great Ace Attorney (in Japan) they actually did an April Fools joke of the game being about ANTHROMORPHIC DOGS.
Sherlock Holmes's dog counterpart was *literally* Sherlock Hound. Just, straight up lifted the design. This is especially funny as the Japanese version specified that Hound was a FOX, not a dog --- but they kept to it because that's what people immedately think of when they put him in a Anthro-Dog world.

You're right!! I actually remember seeing that! But I didn't have the context for it... Watching it again years later, I notice Iris has a Watson toy!
Also, looking at concept art, Sherlock Hound was definitely a hound at some point... I didn't realize that he looked like a fox intentionally! I gotta change the species type in the submission info, hah!
