Gwynn, Fae Chieftain in Marble (Petrification)
Gwynn ap Nudd's neverending task of keeping harmony in his corner of Faerie's eternal chaos is oftentimes exhausting. Of the many ways he likes to relieve the stress of creating culture from chaos, including indulging in a little benign mischief, sparring with his rival Gwythyr, and enjoying the company of a few earthly friends-turned-objects (temporarily, of course, he'll always turn them back unless they ask not to be), the one that Gwynn turns to when he just needs to turn his thoughts off for a while is becoming a statue himself.
Petrification is one of many arts Gwynn has mastered, able to turn others and himself to and from stone at will, one he often demonstrates on people he likes. He's also quite proud of what a handsome statue he makes, in this case going for marble as a graceful, modest material that lets his chiseled form speak for itself.
Thus, he shall remain until he's ready to resume his duties, centuries passing in this space while mere moments go by outside. In the meantime, his marble hand reaches out, offering to share this blissful stillness with anyone who'd be his companion here for a few millennia.
