Neeva was enjoying breakfast with Merry when suddenly her eyes began to glow, an incoming call from Val. Afraid it might be about a job, she excused herself from the table for a few minutes to not worry Merry before taking up the call. He seemed quite ecstatic, he wanted her to come as soon as possible saying he had a little surprise for her.



Finishing her plate, she helped Merry clean the dishes before quickly heading towards Val's business building. Her eyes widen at full capacity as her heart skipped a few beat, Sei-Sei was still alive! Without any hesitation she wrapped her arms around the strange yinglet who seemed unaware yet cheerful of the gesture.




Val arrived with a can of clams, Neeva told him to wait before opening it as she wanted to distance herself from it. Unlike her kin, she finds this delicacy to be the most foul.





''Neeva'' How in the hell did you find her!? I spent weeks searching for her in between jobs.


''Val'' You wouldn't have found her, poor thing was captured and sold in the black market. I tend to go on those websites, some goodies are only sold there. I did not know you were familiar with them, i just felt lonely sometimes and a pet is exactly what i wanted. Before you go mad hun, yinglets are legal to own as pets, well the males are at least.



''Neeva'' While the females are forbidden from being own as pets, any who are caught with one will get sent to jail and the yinglet shipped to an enclave. Kel's owner suffered that fate, as much as i am happy to see her alive, Val you can't keep her here.




''Val'' Relax hun, i called your mom the Grand matriarch, said Sei-Sei is a reject, a lost cause in their eyes. Only enclave who took her in well.... Heard they were brutally ripped to shred, only known survivor was Kel because you took her in. Which like Sei-Sei are the only female who have been allowed to be kept as outside pets.





''Neeva'' Kel is not a pet, she's .... Let's just say you don't want her as a pet if you happen to be a woman.




''Val'' true , true indeed. Amethyst said she'd be willing to take her in , however changed her mind saying her daughter might come and kill her for that.



''Neeva'' I wouldn't kill her but i'd drag Sei-Sei out of there immediatly thats for sure, however not like our place would be any better. Can't stop Kel from being a degenerate with her thats for sure.




''Val'' I had a job available for you and Yan but i'll let her do the briefing. She's doing whatever Yan does in the storage room, just so you know its about killing a dangerous creature. Must be nice killing a non talking person for once hmm?
