I assume your smearing it or something?
You could just have the other colour on another layer and then they won't get smeared into each other, and you can erase any mistakes without removing any of the colour on layers underneith the one your working on, hope that makes sense!

Well the technique I was using in this seems a bit strange, but you use the charcoal and smear brushes to make a black-and-white image of what you want, and then overlay color over it. (I learned this technique from a rat at MMF werewolfsnot on Instagram) Also, the fuzzy brush that I use is just the blender smear, I just call it the fuzzy brush because it makes everything fuzzy.
