Daiima is a great tree that towers nearly a mile high, rivalling the minor mountains of the world, and its great sprawling roots burrow underneath almost a quarter of the planet's surface area and miles deep. Religious historians speculate that it was under this tree that the creation goddess, Tanastlasei, came to speak to the Ramathians, and it grew and grew with her blessings, until it became the size that it is today.
