Roof Doll Retrieval Unit Mk.1, 2018
Four years ago today, I solved a dilemma with this thing that I whipped together out of whatever was in the garage at the time. The neighbor kids had thrown a doll on our roof while they were horsing around. Not sure if they intended for it to end up there, but it did. It remained there for a couple of weeks until I remembered a line spoken by Ack Ack in 'One Crazy Summer' (played by Curtis Craig who also played Booger in 'Revenge of the Nerds'). He said: "Did you know that for every lost or broken doll, there's a little girl with a broken heart?" So with that dagger in my SOUL, I figured I oughtta do something. So I did this.
This was back before the buckle broke on my "redneck ushanka." Also, if I recall, the winter we had here in Indiana four years ago was fairly mild.
Note: You might not be able to tell due to the shadow, but I'm wearing brown pants because I'm an Evil Dead fantard. Yes, I'm allowed to use the term "fantard" because I am one, therefore my use of the term is a badge of solidarity.
