For next year, you might check Further Confusion's website. They offer travel grants to people. I've gone twice as a result. Sadly, I won't go anymore for personal, political reasons (harassment by the staff), but that does free up money for others. Woot!

Maybe they won't have such a lame theme next year. But I doubt it. Gene is a cantankerous old fart and likes his weird science fiction stuff...
