Meet Kari, the second member of the racing team. Team Idol. She is generally quite passive in behaviour, tending to keep to herself between races. She is close friends with Fennel and will do her best to be there for her when things get tough. Kari is the speed member of the group being able to run up to speeds over 100km/h. She is only able to accomplish this feat due to her exposure to Chaos energy.

She tested experimental Extreme Gear and there was an incident where she broke all known speed records during testing. a chaos emerald was used in part of the test and its unstable energies reached out to her upon breaking the speed barrier. The energy changed her fur from blonde to light blue. much like Sonic's origin but not as wild of a reaction. hence why her fur is more of a light blue than the cobalt blue Sonic is.

Due to the Chaos energy she was exposed to she discovered that she has a connection with the Chao and is able to understand them. Not so much understand their speech but can interpret their intentions in their words.
