I wanted Ash to dress up as someone wearing a dress. Dawn was the first one that came to mind.
Ash Ketchum and Dawn (or Satoshi and Hikari as they are originally called in Japan) are (according to Wikipedia) created by Satoshi Tajiri (I THINK Hikari and Satoshi have the same creator, correct me if I´m wrong.) and are part of Pokemon which belongs to Nintendo.
