Highly relevant humour if you're Australian.
Australia are currently, as I type this, being battered in The Ashes, which for those that don't know is a cricket war between the UK and Australia. As well as that, much of Queensland is under water, as all three of its major rivers have burst their banks and flooded an area the size of Texas. Lastly, I suppose I should point out that Luci here is Australian, and she has a sense of humour; I intend no offense against Australia or any of it's people. Even Ricky Ponting.
Work in progress piece, that actually has nothing to do with the silly joke. I know I wont get this finished before the joke becomes irrelevant, so I'm posting it up as it is for now, and will hopefully get time to finish it in coming weeks. As a West Indian, I can't say I feel sorry for Australia (cricket wise)...it's about time somebody kicked their asses! (Cricket rivalry!!)
As for the flooding...I saw some really distressing stuff on the news about it...and now there's a fear of snakes in the flood water...

This isn't the first time I've used potentially inappropriate humour to make fun of a massive disaster in Australia. I remember just less than a year ago when there were raging wild fires...
As for cricket, it was always a bit of a sore point, she was die-hard Aussie, and I'm not, as you have no doubt already guessed.
