The daring fiery fox, Li, has braved countless dungeons and monsters ten times her size, but how will she fare against the most devious challenge of all... Tickles!? X'hutoa will have to put her soft, sensitive footpaws to the test!

A very fun commission done for  CoolPat7 :) He asked me to draw up a character from one of our favorite games, Gunfire Reborn. I was very surprised to see so little tickle art of her since she's so darned cute, but hopefully this inspires a few folks.

Yotie was also very generous and allowed me to practice some new shading and line techniques with his commission. I tried doing some colored and limited lines here, relying more on colors and values to separate shapes than stark black lines. I also did some more painterly shading and tried to pay more attention to the reflective light than the typical grey spectrum that I often use, as well as relying a little less on filters for light. The end result is something that ends up looking very soft, which I like, but I also still see a lot of minor, messy things that I need to refine, especially when it comes to choosing which lines to keep. I doubt that this line style will replace what I normally do, but I do want to try it again and do it better next time. The shading style I might keep, though it too just needs more practice to look smoother.

Either way, I hope that folks enjoy this picture! Are you rooting for Li to hold out? To break? Maybe to get her revenge? ;)
