New Year's Themed Commission By  Moosifurr

Yuka and Sayuri, best friends since their childhoods, celebrate the New Year approaching South Engelstrand and North Engelstrand together, and after a party at Yuka's house in South Engelstrand with a delicious, filling dinner and desert, the two decide to relax escape the winter chill by swimming and soaking in a warm hot tub, and then drinking champagne whilst watching the fireworks go off to celebrate the ending of the old year and the beginning of the new one. Soon, it'll be midnight.

Yuka: So pretty...

Sayuri: Yeah... y'know, I've never had the time to stop and appreciate such beautiful moments like this, because of all the duties we've got to do. I mean, I know why it's important, being a Shepherd of the Lord, trying to spread the gospel and all, but... (sighs)

Yuka: Aw, chin up, Sayuri. We can treasure this tonight, and don't worry, if we can keep peace throughout the world so we'll have more moments like this, it'll be worth it, and we're best friends for nearly 20 years, right?

Sayuri: Thank you, Yuka. You've always been so kind to me, and one could never have asked for a better friend than you. Ready to enter the New Year, no matter what we face, best friends forever?

Yuka: (winks) Ewe better believe it!!

Sayuri: (laughs at the cheesy pun, as the clock strikes midnight) Hark! 'Tis a new time we're now in together, no matter come storms or raging weather, with faith we'll jump mountains with nothing to fear, and may every good friend have a...*

Both: HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!* KANPAI!!!** (they clink glasses together)

*A traditional Engelstrandian chant said at 12:00 AM on January 1 of the New Year.
