Here's an art summary of some of the major pieces I worked on each month during 2022!

I felt this year I set out to make a lot more pinup-themed art and I feel I accomplished at least some of those aspirations with the pinups seen here especially during the first half of 2022 and in the 2nd half one of my other goals was to depict more fanart of all the new anime series I was enjoying this year, I remember for a long time I would sit down and enjoy a series but I never felt that inkling to immediately depict characters or moments from it that I particularity like at least right away at first since Beastars was definitely an exception for me and I felt I should change that since I didn't want to just be a passive participant in a fandom of a series I was enjoying and so I set out to do more fanart of the new shows I began to like and get invested in and it was like proving to myself and to others that was something I could do as well. I think just seeing a lot of the awesome fanart made by the anime-centric artists I've seen online really made me felt I need to step up this part of my art game as well.

At the same time I sometimes wonder if I was neglecting some of my other art interests since I feel like I didn't depict enough characters with armor and weapons or with historical themes in general since I shifted those gears a bit to work on my pinup skills but I don't want to forget about the people who supported me mainly because they were drawn to my historical/armored warrior works early on and I plan to get back to that at some point. This would be like the equivalent of me starting our as a striker in MMA and then switching gears to work on my wrestling/grappling abilities but neglecting to work on my striking skills just as much if that analogy makes sense.

Overall I thought I made at least a few great standout pieces this year with March, May, June and October being some of my favourites and I plan to be a lot more productive with the new PC I've gotten and this short holiday break I've taken to start off 2023 with a lot of great new art as well!
