I mean I wouldn't take this as a concrete character statement
1) from technically 20k years in the future as nonsensical as it would be that a reincarnated hiker looked exactly like well, hiker
2) Most of their face is kinda covered by the mask, could be smiling or frowning or nothin. I would imagine her content mostly, maybe a bit of a witty bite ground sharp by well worn travels

This sorta manatech tends to develop more around the 7000-12000PA Period and this particular period more around the 20k+ period, so it won't happen in Hikers canonical lifetime sadly.

That said i can still see some version of this happening eventually with hiker, as he/she adapts to the local and becomes more accustomed to the 'tech' that is available in this time period. My thought process is that if there is anything left of their human HE suit they could go back and at least attempt to repurpose it toward that theme and i can see the staff/weapon/tool she has in this image being on the cusp of happening with what I've seen in the comic so far.
