Anyway two things this is 1) A pressie for Raax's birthday that was a while ago, so, late.
2) Being a sexless species Cybertronians have alternative methods of intimacy with friends and lovers.
As such sleeping with your friends is just something everyone does!
I mean, it's just casual bonding and stuff! Have a cuddle and maybe purr your engine y'know? Share warmth and just relax with the homies.
It's just incredibly casual to sleep with people on Cybertron, because there's no sex/intercourse to be had, so unlike humans there's no 'taboo', so to say, about sharing a bed/sleeping area.
In fact it doesn't always have to be bonding or a friendship thing, it can just be something super casual, like... I dunno, a library having a "nap corner".
Uh, anyway, I think I managed to explain that line of thought well enough.
