Last drawn pictures of 2022, first uploads of 2023. Since no one ever tried to take a crack at my various villains, even me, I decided to change that. Here we have the Wuffs. Also my first crack at drawing muscles...
Back in 2012, the Wuffs were originally conceived as the antagonists of a joke story to make fun of anime tropes (and the fans that considered them gospel) at the time. Anime space pirates land in a small town in middle America, discovered that power sabers and running around shirtless is no match for humans with shotguns and hunting rifles. Discussed the idea with a different friend who steered me towards what would become the Hearth Star universe where the joke would remain largely unchanged.
In the Hearth Star universe, the Wuffs are a violent, aggressive species that reproduce about as rapidly as a mammalian species can realistically reproduce. Constantly at war with other species, were it not for their obscenely large population, their preferred methods of "kewl" mall ninja-esque combat would have made them go extinct. Scorning armor of any kind except for unreliable shield belts and believing that melee combat with highly conductive energy blades is the kewlest form of combat, Wuffs are an unstoppable terror without equal... to any civilization that has not developed cartridge or magazine-based firearms. Against even the oppressed humans hiding in the bottom levels of the Hearth Star, an individual Wuff is an easily gunned down threat. Unfortunately there is never just ONE Wuff.
