It is easy to be lost in the noise and chaos of the everlasting Storm. The howling wind and cracking thunder is all I knew for a long time... Maybe since the Old Days, even?
But once one is lost in the Storm, it is not a trifling endeavor to reach its edge, to see the Sun again.
One needs a Guide, a being familiar with the touch of the Sun, to lead the way.
I have found my Guide, a graceful creature of fleeting, yet ardent presence. And so I have found my way to the Storm's End, to my brief, most precious respite.
I spent a few warm days in the Light, witnessing the World in its finest colors. And as the Light shone on my white scales, reflecting its radiance in them, I even felt beautiful for the fading moment. The gentle breeze caressed my mane, so unlike the Storm's violent touch.
Led by my Guide, I found that part of the Sky where I did not feel cold anymore. I felt grateful.
This wonderful artwork by
Orisana was a "memory piece" of sorts to me. An expression of the brightest days of the turbulent year that just had passed. My guide there is 
fyris, who has shown great kindness to me during those few heartwarming days. I love how Ori captured the allegorical split between the darkness of the storm and the bright sky, with an amazing level of detail that stays in tune with the impression-focused feel. The dynamic poses in flight are just as impressive. Fantastic work that speaks volumes without a single word - that's exactly the kind of art I cherish.
