I've taken to working with machines now. The type used to fabricate fine parts for certain industries, CNC. Currently in the final stages of a vocational course. I'm thinking of welding too.

Figures, if I can't be an engineer or scientist, perhaps technician and tradesman is an appropriate substitute.

Great to hear! I'm doing alright, thanks. In the last 2 years I sold my house and moved in with my mom for what was supposed to be a temporary thing until I was able to buy something else, not knowing the housing market would go insane so here I still am; at work I got transferred to the department that started making the new covid vaccine, and then after 14 months of that got transferred to the newly built vaccine department which was a total dumpster fire, so I transferred back out into another department (the initial one to make covid vaccine but back to making the stuff they used to make); and 3 days ago I finally adopted a new dog who's a rescue from a puppy mill in Iowa. Life's had a lot of ups and downs!
