cougr did a silly one-off pencil sketch of a Duncan head-shot -- since the guy rarely draws kangaroo and since I absolutely loved the style I demanded (read begged, pleaded, and possibly bribed) he color it up. It's easily one of my most favorite head-shots anyone has ever done for me, and I thought it'd be appropriate to use it as my FA profile image.Again, I don't enjoy uploading other people's art to my account, but it is the only way I can get FA profile images up on my page.

He always manages to draw all species facial characteristics spot on. There is no doubt that this is a (green) Kangaroo, no imagination required. It's a remarkable trait I only see in few artists. Also I understand about not wanting to upload other peoples art to your account, but at least you give credit where credit is due, unlike a quite a few people I have seen.

I don't really see any problem with uploading art done for you as long as you give proper credit. :) It's not something to feel bad about. Especially since online community artists are flaky as a rule and tend to do gallery purges, leave the fandom forever, etc; probably a third of my commissions would exist nowhere but my hard drive at this point due to shenanigans like that.
