This was half practice, half reference. It's a portrait of Keiko[then Kira]'s family when she was a kit. I needed to practice drawing multiple characters, since I've really never done it..
In case you didn't read the journal about her family, top left is Colin, father, silver fox; top right is Aileen, mother, red fox; lower left is Kira [now Keiko], me, mutt fox; and lower right is Keane, brother, red fox.

well you've done a great job. the key i find to drawing characters together is both spacing and some sense of density. If you can't make it look like the characters are and/or can interact with each other then it tends to not be believable. Of course i have a hard time pulling this off myself..... ^^;
