Pretty cool(no pun intended)

The only half-decent shot... Had to use a point-and-shooter... You know, a crowd, two kids... No way to take a SLR along, much less a 'pod :)

I know the feeling. Unfortunately, I don't own a point-and-shoot.

It's a necessity. They are hard as Hell to use in manual mode (like, manual focus is... It FUCKING *IS* somewhere in there, but *USING* it is above my comprehension even with manual, and them being too "smart" like "Sorry, subject blinked" -- when I was shooting *FLOWERS*), but they have a definite advantage of much larger f spread and unlike (most) SLRs can shoot video... Nothing is worse than spotting a perfect shot and having a wrong lens for it on your SLR at the moment :)

I know they are, but I lack funds to get a decent one.
